Your Tone-A-Matic system along with cardio on my stationary bicycle is keeping me in great shape for 76. It takes a lot less time than the gym and gives me exceptionally enhanced contractions for maintaining and building muscle without damaging joints. Thanks, Blake M.
This is my second one. The only reason I got another one is because I used the wrong charging cord and fried the module. I find my knee improves after using P5 and ice. It’s well worth the money for a well constructed product.
got this for my back pain. I couldn't be more satisfied. Takes the pain away so fast.
I bought a Sport 4 on Amazon (same price as here, no longer on Amazon) in November of 2018. I have chronic back problems frequently leading to severe nerve and muscle pains. TENS and microcurrent help me get through the day. While I have pocket TENS units for going out, they are only 2 channels and chew through batteries like crazy. This unit is built like a tank. The 4 channels let me surround the pain and keep it under control. I have not explored the conditioning aspects like Russian or EMS stimulation programs yet but may explore further when I am not using it for pain management. This clinical-grade device has heavy-duty wire sets, idiot-proof controls, and a very good battery life. Things I don't like, but not enough to rate it down a star: I wish it was smaller - electrically it could be smaller but then it wouldn't look like a clinical unit. It is about the size of an average hardback book. (Hey Tamtec - I would pay more for a smaller version even though you and I both know the big one doesn't have to be that big!) I wish they had a thin lead option. The high-quality leads (wires) are heavy-duty (think lamp cord) and do not facilitate long term wearing. The weight of the wires is enough to pull the contact pads off if you do not pay attention to gravity. Lightweight leads would eliminate this problem. I have been known to wear a unit for 12+ hours to avoid narcotic pain medicine. While I wouldn't mind wearing the unit in a pouch on my waist or over my shoulder or in a backpack, I would look like somewhat of a science project walking down the street with bright white leads snaking under my clothes. And, I wish it would operate on wall power while charging. Though the manual says it will not do this, I have yet to run a battery out. I do keep extra batteries on standby. Better to have them and not need them... But, these are all personal preferences and not in any way reflective of the quality of the unit. Highly recommended. Would I buy it again? Yes - especially if it was a truly portable version!
Easy, practice, simple, efective.
