This form-fitting garment belt will work your abdominal and oblique muscles when it is connected to an EMS machine (Muscle Stimulator NOT included). It can also be used without an EMS device for back support.

This Abdominal belt provides electrotherapy where you need it. It can be a great alternative for patients who have skin reactions to conventional pre-gelled electrodes, who have difficulty keeping conventional electrodes covering the treatment area, or who need much larger stimulation coverage throughout the entire garment area.

  • Compatible with EMS units that use Pin Wires: Pin-to-Snap Wires included in the package
  • Compatible with EMS units that use Female Snap-On Wires: Male Snap Buttons are attached each pad
  • Works your upper and lower abdominal and oblique muscles simultaneously by contracting and relaxing the muscles when used with an electronic muscle stimulator. Using the Tone-A-Matic Ab Belt with any EMS unit will help you maximize your abdominal/core workout without the hassle straining your neck and back doing sit-ups.
  • The belt can also be used without a muscle stimulator unit to increase sweat and core temperature during normal exercise.
  • It can also be worn underneath clothing throughout the day to improve posture, stability, and back support.
  • Designed to fit around your waist comfortably and adjusts to your size and shape with adjustable Velcro.
  • Length: 51"
  • Width: 7" and narrows to 4"
  • Comes with 2 Extra Large Pads (please note: EMS/TENS device NOT included).

Step 1:

Attach the two fabric pads onto the velcro part of the belt

Step 2:

Position the belt in the abdominal or back area that you want to work out

Step 3:

Attach the white wire coming from the pads to the wire that goes into the machine.

Step 4:

Wet the two pads with water

Step 5:

After wetting the pads and positioning them, make sure that you adjust the belt tightly around your waist to make good contact with your skin.

Step 6:

Turn your EMS/TENS machine ON to start. Make sure that you have chosen your program or selected the parameter for your machine.

Step 7:

Slowly increase the Channel Intensity Bars / Controls that are connected to the pad wires.

Step 8:

You should feel the contraction/stimulation by now. Continue to increase to a tolerable level as you would with the self-adhesive pads or Carbon Flex electrodes.

Step 9:

After your workout, disconnect the machine from the pads until your next usage.

Fits fine

Recommend getting the pads relatively wet for good connection. I happened to have a spray bottle of electrolyte solution for another tens unit I have which specifically was for use on pads. I guess you can use water, but since I have the solution I figured I'd use it. Will compare with plain water later.

My summary

It stops working if pads don't have enough water. Haven't worn it enough to see if more water will help. Hot in the summer heat.

Thank you for your review! Yes in order for the belt to work, the pads need to be soaking wet and in full contact with your skin.
